All residents age 18 and older of the Community College District No. 4 (Skagit, Island and San Juan Counties) are eligible to become community borrowers. High school students under age 18 need a parent to check out materials for them. Cards are available for $20 per year. If you do not have a local address on your current picture ID you will also need to present proof of residence in Skagit, Island,or San Juan county.

1. Apply for your Community Borrower card at the SVC Library,
2. Take your invoice to the Cashier’s window to pay, and
3. Return to the Library with your cashier’s receipt to receive your Community Borrower card.

All community borrower cards expire one year from date of issue. Any outstanding fines or other charges must be paid before your card can be renewed. Please retain your card so that it can be re-used.
