Using the Catalog
Use the Redwings Library Catalog to find books, dvds, cds and other library materials. Search the catalog by topic, title or author.The catalog tells you whether the library owns an item, where it's located, and if it is available to check out. It also allows you to:
- Look up Course Reserves
- View New Library Items
- View your Library Account and Renew Items (you need the barcode number on your student ID)
- Place holds on items that are checked out
- Make purchase suggestions for the library
Checking Out Library Items
Use your SVC Student Photo ID card to check out library materials. Student ID cards are free. Go to Registration to get your card. Then, go to the Library to get a barcode sticker placed on the card. Now you're ready to check things out!
