Academic
Search FullText provides access to information from a wide range of
academic areas, including business, social sciences, humanities, general
academic, general science, education and multicultural studies. The database
includes full text for over 1260 journals, abstracts and indexing for more than
2880 journals. Over 700 of the over 1,260 full text journals are peer reviewed,
and over 1,670 of the indexed journals are peer reviewed. Full text
backfiles go as far back as January of 1990, while indexing and abstract
backfiles go as far back as January of 1984. This database is updated daily.
Academic Search FullText is
the default database selected automatically
when you access
EBSCOhost.
CINAHL
(Cumulative Index to
Nursing & Allied Health Literature) covers over 1200
professional journals in nursing, 17 allied health disciplines, and health
sciences librarianship, with coverage as far back as 1982. In addition, CINAHL
offers access to healthcare books, nursing dissertations,
selected conference proceedings, standards of practice, educational software in
nursing, audiovisuals, and book chapters. CINAHL also contains complete coverage
of English-language nursing journals and publications from the National
League for Nursing and the American Nurses' Association. CINAHL with
Headings contains CINAHL-specific headings. EBSCO and Cinahl Information Systems
recommend using the Cinahl Thesaurus that is supplied with the database in
order to get the most accurate and targeted search results. This database is
updated monthly.

ERIC
(Education Resource Information
Center) provides indexing and abstracts from thousands of research and
technical reports and more than 750 educational journals dating back to
1967. Selected full text articles are available for thousands of ERIC digest
records. This database is updated quarterly.
