In my research, I found that the database that worked for me and my research was ProQuest. I was able to find sources with information about pros and cons for my topic that helped me write and argumentative paper with information to support it. At times it can be deceiving when you search your topic to see a bunch of articles that are opposite of your opinion. It's really important to narrow down your topic and use specific key terms to find sources that align with your topic. In doing my research I learned so much about the ongoing debate about whether or not athletes should be compensated and all of the things that I believe to be reasons why in this day and age college athletes should be compensated. This project taught me so much valuable information that I can carry on in the future. The variety of databases the library provides helps find credible, reliable sources for future research.
