In modern times, many people are concerned about the modern uses of artificial intelligence and the impacts that it may have on their day-to-day lives. It is beginning to appear everywhere that technology is used, including but not limited to social media, workplaces, hospitals, and even schools. This paper investigates the impression of artificial intelligence on modern education and explores the different tools that impact students and educators across the world. The methodology that was used is a compilation of resources found primarily in SVC Databases, different university websites, and from Google Scholar. Many of these ten compiled and annotated resources are books that really dive deep into the different effects that artificial intelligence may have on education, but do not explore the true advantages it can supply. The concluding paper based on many different sources indicates that despite much research on the advantages of artificial intelligence in an educational setting, the positive effects tend to outweigh the few negative effects. Commonly overlooked to focus on the risk of plagiarism or cheating, many aspects of artificial intelligence create tools in education that can provide assistance to educators and students anywhere with internet access. Implications are that there is definitely further research that needs to be done, as much of the research that has been conducted focuses on the negative effects that artificial intelligence has on education and looks past any of the positive.
Technology surrounds almost everything in the lives of individuals across the world in some way. Artificial intelligence surrounds almost everything in all aspects of technology. Now, AI is continually growing in its impact on the educational systems across the world. The impact of AI can range to all areas of education, from assisting educators in building improved lesson plans to tutoring students that need a little bit of extra assistance. While many attempt to focus entirely on the negative impacts that AI can contribute, they tend to overlook the crucial tools and other helpful things that AI can offer to students and educators everywhere.
