Printing

• Students have $5 credit for printing each quarter attached to their MYSVC account.
• Ask at the library desk to get help setting up a printing fob.

Course Materials on Reserve

• Reserve course materials are available at the circulation desk. You can ask there, or...
• Search for materials using the Course or Instructor's name.

Study Rooms

• Both campus libraries have study rooms that may be reserved for up to two hours for group or quiet study.
• Ask to reserve a study room at the library desk. There is no online reservation form or process.

Check-out Laptops and other Technology

• Bring your Student ID Card or CTCLink number to the library desk.
• Most technology can be borrowed for the quarter and is not renewable.

Access Library Resources Online

• Use your MYSVC username and password to access any library resources. This includes databases, logging into computers, library accounts, etc.

Access Library Account to Renew Materials Online

• Use your MYSVC username and password to login to your account.
• Most technology can not be renewed and needs to be returned at the end of each Quarter.

Find and Access Streaming Videos

• Use your MYSVC username and password to search our streaming services.

Cite a Source

• Ask for help with citations at the library desk or search our Guide to Citing Sources.

Library WiFi

• Search the network, look for MYSVC. There is no special login or password.
• WiFi access from campus parking lots:
  • Mount Vernon Campus:
    • Laura Angst Hall (Lot L1)
    • Joe Reeves Hall (Lot L2)
  • Whidbey Island Campus:
    • WiFi from SVC and the Sno-Isle Library cover the parking lots without any extensions.

• After Hours Book Drops are located on both campuses:
  • Mount Vernon: parking lot behind library
  • Whidbey: Between Hayes and Oak Hall
